Adventure Guide
This is the Main Guide to all adventures within Settlers Online (so far). It is a compilation of different maps and guides by several other people. Please do not take it as absolute. Not only new adventures might surface that are not presently covered here - but you might also find different guides with better setups. And, in any case, sometimes we need to finish the adventures with different setups than the ones shown here (like, for instance, completing adventures using far less recruit losses than the ones listed here - and for that you will have to use either another guide, or make your own as you go, using the combat simulator to see just how many Militia you will need to use instead of Recruits...)

Guide for Efficient Building Placement
This is a thread from the Settlers Online Forum. In it you will find several maps with several suggestions on how to place your buildings. They pretty much all follow the hexagonal pattern that is described in the videos below.
Combat Simulator1 and Combat Simulator2
Not always we are going to do the adventures in the exact same way as described on the guides so, for that, it is better to use one of these two tools and map out your attacks beforehand.
I started out using the first one, but I am now finding the second one much easier to use and with lots of interesting info (like the XP you get by taking out each camp or how many resources you will need to use to replace the lost units). In any case, use whichever you prefer, they are both equally accurate in conveying the results!
Trade Calculator
Boot helps us a lot but... we might want to try and fend for ourselves a bit and go out there and play the Newfoundland market.
In order to find out how much you should get for those resources you have gathering dust in your storehouse, you can use the link above.

There he describes how to correctly calculate production times - and how to best place your buildings in regards to that. There are 8 videos in total. But, some of us still need to clear the camps in our home islands and, for that, this is one of the many guides available (and I do suggest you browse around a bit before you decide in any given setup - especially concerning Chuck). Well worth having a good look since it will help you save some troops and kill each camp efficiently.

How to REMOVE Settlers Online from your FACEBOOK account and still KEEP PLAYING!
If, by any reason, you wish to DELETE your Facebook account, or simply disconnect Settlers Online from it (and play through Uplay access - so you'll need to create a Uplay account if you don't have one already to be able to do this!) this is what you need to do according to Support:
"If you have at the moment the game linked to your Facebook account and in case you delete the Facebook account, you will lose access to your game. If you wish to delete the Facebook account and to not lose access to your game, you need to convert the account and link it with your Uplay account.
If you wish to migrate and link the account to your Uplay account, first of all, you need to separate the game from your Facebook account.
To separate a game account on Facebook just follow these steps:
1- Connect to Facebook
2- Go to "Account" - "Privacy Settings" - "Applications and Websites" - "Change Your Settings"
3- Remove the "The Settlers Online"
Then to your email address should be delivered a link which will help you to convert the account and link it to your Uplay account.
In case you come across any problem, please don't hesitate to contact us."
