Here's a brief list of tools I've created and that might prove useful to you. If you don't have Microsoft Office Excel, you can download and use OPEN OFFICE. It's FREE, SAFE and it WORKS. It will allow you to open the spreadsheets and play around with them in very much the same way Excel does.

CCLEANER (PIRIFORM)
Don't know about you, but I sometimes have stuff missing from my star menu, can't get into adventures, buffs don't go in, keep getting booted out... I've tried everything. Usually refreshing solves it. But if it doesn't I clear the cache (either directly on chrome - or via windows).
But sometimes not even that works...
The next best thing I have found is to use a program targeted at doing just that (clearing the cache) but also temp files, browsing history, cookies, etc.
CCleaner is free, small and easy to use. It hasn't solved everything - but it has solved a lot! The only thing you need to do is to make sure you save in your favourites all the tabs you keep using. After you install CCleaner, you need only press a button, wait a little while (under a minute on my laptop) and hey presto! Unnecessary stuff has been cleared and you might just have your problems solved! I hope it helps you!


SETTLERS CALCULATOR
This link will take you to an excel spreadsheet on dropbox, which hosts the file. You will be able to download it and change it in anyway you want. Whenever I make any changes on the file, these will be automatically updated onto dropbox and you'll be able to download the new file once more. If you have changes you would like everybody to have access to - please forward them to me so that I can update the file.

What does it do?
The file has 2 pages. Troop Calculator and Production Times

Troop Calculator
Want to know how many resources you need to go on the next adventure? Very simple. Just input the troops you have as well as the total troops you'll need and the spreadsheet will calculate how much brew, bread, swords and so forth you will need to build the settlers and train them.

Production Times
Want to know when to send your Geologist out so that as soon as the mine collapses he will discover a new one? Simple. On the left side of the page simply type the production times for each of the mines you want to keep track off. Type the times as hours:minutes:seconds (eg, 0:06:32). It will then tell you how much ore should the mine display in order for you to send the Geologist out. So, for instance, if a coal mine has a production time of 0:02:02, the value obtained is 118 ore. Which means that as soon as you have only 118 ore left, you can send your geologist out. He will find a new vein shortly after the mine collapses.
NOTE: Even though the calculator is correct for the Copper mines, there is a bug with the program: the geologist cannot find a vein before the mine collapses. As far as I'm aware this is the only instance where this happens.
On the right side of the spreadsheet you will be able to calculate how much time before a given mine collapses. This will enable you to plan somewhat ahead what will happen with your mines. To use it you merely need to type how much ore you have left in the second column, labelled Deposit Remaining. It will use the Production Time you inserted on the left side of the spreadsheet, in the same row. Then it will give you the remaining time in Days, Hours, Minutes and seconds.
So, for example, if you have 257 gold ore left in a mine with a Production Time of 12 minutes and 28 seconds (0:12:28), the mine will collapse within 2 days, 5h, 23 minutes and 56 seconds (displayed as 2 05:23:56).

If you want to add more mine production times to any of the mines, you simply have to insert extra rows and copy & paste one of the relevant rows and change the values accordingly.

SETTLERS ONLINE PRODUCTION CALCULATOR
Let's you change the distance between buildings and the storehouse and see how it affects your production. This is no longer the old excel spreadsheet that this link used to lead to but a newer version I've been working on, hosted by google docs. Some of the features in other spreadsheets have been included here - as well as some new ones. It is still being tested for bugs so... use it carefully - and let me know if you spot any errors, or if you have any suggestions to implement. Thanks!


SETTLERS ONLINE ADVENTURE DATA
This spreadsheet is for those of you that want to more or less keep track of what happens in each adventure. How many troops you used, how much you lost, what was the loot obtained. Each page has a different adventure with a few brief notes. Do notice that these are to be used in conjunction with the guides provided online - they're not a replacement!
The notes are there to clarify a specific point that I had trouble with - or that overlooked...
I've left some of my data behind so that people see how to insert what where. I've also added a couple of alternative setups, for when you have to do a specific adventure with a maximum amount of recruits. I haven't done it with all though... just the ones I've played like that so far.
My plan is to add more adventures every so often but, then again, feel free to do with this spreadsheet whatever you wish! It is not locked and you are free to play around with it - or ignore it completely if it's not for you...
