Provision House Calc Tool

Hello everyone,

Ever since the Troop Calc Tool came about that I thought of doing a similar thing for the Provision House.

Sometimes I need to build stuff, don't know how long it will take, or how many resources will it require - nor do I know if it's actually worthwhile selling or converting it.

Well, this is the tool to answer all those questions. Just make a copy of the file for your personal use and you're set...

Click for the PROVISION HOUSE CALC TOOL.

As always the green cells are the ones you can tinker with. All others are supposed to be left alone... but, of course, feel free to mod the file according to your own specifications. If you come up with some ideas that you think would be good to add, do let me know and I will try to include them here so that others may benefit also.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1 - Fill out the PROVISION HOUSE LEVEL cell.
2 - You do not need to use the AVAILABLE column. Here you are simply supposed to fill in what you already have in stock.
3 - Please enter in the ORDERS NEEDED column how much you want of every item. Bear in mind when it comes to Deposits, it's the number of buffs you will be producing - not how much deposit you will get in the end (that's shown in QUANTITY column)
4 - Fill in the PRICES columns at the bottom. You can use the NEWFOUNDLAND TRADE SHEETS if you wish to find a rough approximation of said prices.
NOTE: for Fishfood and Musk Deer Fragrance Deposits simply enter the cost of 2500 deposit of each (a bundle of 25 buffs) - the tool will then calc the rest (on the brown cell next to these prices is the calculated price per buff ;) )

After you have done this you will have all the calculations done for you.

A few features you may want to have a look at:
1 - There are two columns, one in BLUE, another in PURPLE. The BLUE one gives you how much it costs to build the various things. The PURPLE one how much you would get if you were to sell them on TO (providing you have filled out all the prices correctly...)

2 - Further down you will see two BLUE cells and a RED one. These will give the total cost(minus Settlers and Balloons - which you cannot sell on TO) to BUILD and the total sales value if you were to sell the stuff you've just created on TO. The RED cell gives you the difference between one and the other.
Do not that the only things worthwhile selling seem to be (possibly) BUFFS and DEPOSITS. All the CONVERSION stuff seems to be running at a loss (often drastically so...).

3 - You can see the TOTAL PRODUCTION COSTS, side by side with how many ORDERS you are about to place and the TIME it would take to build all that (for this it is very important you place the correct Provision House Level!)

4 - On a BLUE row you can see the costs in resources used, distributed by resource type. So, if you're building Solid Sandwiches and Aunt Irma's Baskets and some Retired Bandits all in big clump you can see how much BREAD you're going to use - and how much that's worth in gold coins.

That's it! If you spot any incorrections, please do let me know so that I can fix them!

I hope this will be useful to you! Enjoy!
