Since gem trading will officially end today after maintenance (and for the foreseable future) this means we can no longer buy the BHGeneral directly from the shop, converting our gold coins into gems (and then the gems to a BHG).
As such the purchase of the Grim-Reaper General (GRG) becomes once again advisable for those of us trying to save up gems and/or wanting to expand our adventuring abilities without incurring in any costs but the virtual ones.
Also, it is likely that the price of pumpkins will remain high during the event due to this as some people would trade directly for gems and sell their pumpkins for coins (thus bringing the pumpkin prices down a bit).
For this reason... well, it is up to you to decided, of course, but bear in mind that prices may be a bit too high in the first few days of the event...
We should get enough pumpkins (or close enough) from the event's quests themselves to be able to get the GRG - it's the other stuff that you will have to fight for if you really want to get it. I still think it's way too expensive to trade it for pumpkins - but, of course, if you're into unique items you certainly have a chance here to expand your collection!
I will try and create a new post with the new resource figures for the Golems. At this point I am quite curious to see how this will in fact take place...
Lastly, do not forget that there will be pumpkins showing up randomly on your island. So keeping a keen eye on the terrain will yield you some more to trade with.
